The state government has started to restore the old market, which was a long pending demand of the people of Poonch. The government has allotted rupees one crore and ten lakhs, and restoration work is going on at war footing. Although the state govt. claims to have improved the education infrastructure in rural areas of the state, but there is still lot more to be done.
