Public anger erupted after two staff members raped a girl on the school premises. Skating instructor of the public school, Mustafa, was arrested on Sunday by the city police. However, Mustafa_s wife, Ayesha Siddiqua, said watching malicious content on laptop does not guarantee that he has done something wrong. Meanwhile, victim_s father, Kiran Reddy, met state education minister Kimmane Ratnakar, who assured him of safer environment in schools. Bangalore, July 21 (ANI): Police in Bangalore city of Karnataka arrested one accused in the sexual assault of a six-year-old school girl which will be produced before court on Monday. The accused, Mustafa alias Munna, who is in his early 30s, was working as a skating instructor in the school since 2011. A native of eastern province of Bihar, he had been staying in Bangalore for more than 20 years. Bangalore Police Commissioner condemns rape of school girl, assures justice

Bangalore, July 19 (ANI): The Police Commissioner of Bangalore, Raghavendra Auradkar, on Saturday assured complete and speedy justice to scores of parents and other protesters enraged over the sexual assault on a six-year-old girl in her school premises. Public anger erupted after two staff members of the school raped the girl within the school premises. The crime took place on July 02 during school hours and the child, a student of first grade is receiving treatment in a hospital. Parents protest against assault of minor girl in school in Bangalore

Bangalore, July 17 (ANI): Agitated parents protested in Vibgyor High School in Bangalore as a 6 year old girl was sexually assaulted in the school. The parents said the school _tried to cover up the matter_ and did not inform them about the incident, which took place on July 2. The Chairman of the school, Rustom Kerawala, assured that safety measures will be improved in school to keep all the students safe. He added that the school authorities are co-operating in investigation and confirmed that the suspected accused have been taken in police custody. However, the parents said they are not satisfied by the statements the school is giving. Meanwhile, Bangalore DCP TD Pawar said that the matter was reported quite late but he assured that action will be taken against the culprits. Reportedly, the girl was taken to a hospital after she expressed discomfort at home, which was when it was revealed that she was raped. For the first time in more than a week of fighting, an Israeli civilian was killed by a rocket fired from the Gaza strip. Hamas has claimed responsibility for launching the short-range rocket.
