India, Vietnam Sign Seven Agreements

Vietnam, Sep 16 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee and Vietnam President Truong Tan Sang witnessed the signing of seven agreements and memorandums in Hanoi, including one made by Petro Vietnam and India's Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Videsh. India and Vietnam have deepened military cooperation over the past decade and under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is pushing ahead with a new strategy to establish itself as an arms exporter using export credits to leverage foreign sales. Addressing the news conference, Secretary (East) Ministry of External Affairs, Anil Wadhwa, emphasized on the need to step up people to people exchanges between the two nations. BSE closes points 61.54 down on September 11

New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 61.54 points down to stand at 26,995.87. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 8.40 points down to stand at 8,085.70. MOTHERSON SUMI SYSTEMS LTD. and EICHER MOTORS LTD. were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 9.20% and 6.27% along with BHARAT FORGE LTD. and GUJARAT MINERAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD. with an increase of 6.24% and 5.90% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include RANBAXY and NHPC with a decrease of 4.89% and 4.69% along with SUNPHARMA and J&KBANK with a decrease of 4.47% and 3.96% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 112.30 points at 17,811.19 while the banking sector is up 49.67 points at 18,549.36 and the reality sector is down 5.95 points at 1,764.07. Advanced technology to revive Japan's farming sector

Tokyo, Sep 09 (ANI): An agricultural plantation project in Hokkaido, founded by JFE Engineering Corporation, has two big greenhouses, covering a total area of 1.5 hectares. In addition to Mesclun greens and tomatoes, they grow more varieties of vegetables and fruits. The greenhouses, which are totally controlled by advanced cultivation control system, use the "Gas engine tri-generation system". It is a newly invented technology by JFE Engineering Corporation. The engine generates electricity, heat and CO2 from natural gas. Exhaust gas is filtered and pure CO2 is made and sent to houses though pipes and ejected by blast machine. The machine also blows warm air. Hot water is stocked in tanks and sent though pipes to heat up plant as needed. Sep 9, 2014
