Lucknow, July 27 (ANI): Politicos from rival parties in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday cornered the Samajwadi Party in the state after reports emerged that the post-mortem report in the Mohanlalganj assault case could have been manipulated. The family members of the victim have pointed out various discrepancies in the postmortem report submitted by a six-member medical team. While the autopsy report said that both kidneys of the lab assistant were intact, a family member claimed that it was wrong as she had donated one of her kidneys to her ailing husband on October 15, 2011. College students protest against sexual assault of Bangalore school girl

Bangalore, July 26 (ANI): Students of Bishop Cotton Christian Women's College in Bangalore on Saturday protested against the sexual assault of a six-year old girl. The students during the protest demanded justice for the six-year-old who was sexually assaulted within her school's premises. During the protest, the students shouted slogans demanding justice, and strict laws dealing with rape cases. The student of first grade, who was assaulted, is now under treatment in a hospital. Bangalore, July 25 (ANI): Officials confirmed that classes in Bangalore_s Vibgyor High School that was shut down after the rape of a six-year-old girl student within the premises, will commence by next Monday. Bangalore south Block Education Officer, Ramesh, announced the schedule for the commencement of classes. The school authorities reaffirmed strict measures for students_ safety after the sexual assault on the campus. The child, a student of first grade at the school, is now under treatment in a hospital. Around 260 parents attended the meeting that was held in the school premises. A parent, Chandrima Dutta, said that the authorities gave a positive response to the agendas put forward by the parents.
