New Delhi, March 20 (ANI): The directorate general of civil aviation (DGCA) issued a show-cause notice to SpiceJet, asking why its license should not be suspended, after a video of the cabin crew on a Goa-Bangalore flight dancing in the aisles went viral on social media. Eight flights operated by the airline on March 17 had cabin crew performing a dance sequence mid-air to celebrate Holi. Reacting over this aviation expert Harshvardhan said that while dancing in the flight was not a violation, the pilot coming out of the cockpit certainly was as in case of an emergency his presence would have been required inside. Bangalore, Jan 30 (ANI): Aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation has asked all airlines and airports to treat MPs as VIPs and adhere to the guidelines on protocol norms. DGCA has asked private airlines to offer special privileges to MPs including advance notice of flight delays, escorts, priority check-in, security, immigration clearances, lounge access and complimentary refreshments. New Delhi, Dec 12 (ANI): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi had a narrow escape at Indira Gandhi International airport while returning from Rae Bareli in his private jet. Another aircraft was still on the runway on which his private business jet was to land. However, luckily just when Rahul's Cessna Citation was about to land, the airport traffic control alerted Rahul's pilot to abort the landing.
