Dhaka, Oct 11 (ANI): Bangladesh academician, Mesbah Kamal, ruled out enmity between the two leading political parties and highlighted clash of ideologies, as tensions mounted ahead of the general elections. The clash of ideologies could plunge Bangladesh into a cycle of violence as the two main political parties - ruling Awami League led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Bangladesh National Party (BNP) headed by Begum Khaleda Zia, locked in decades of mutual distrust, exploit the tension between secularists and Islamists ahead of elections that are due by next January. Kamal while talking to the reporter in Dhaka said that there was no personality oriented political rivalry between Hasina and Zia. New Delhi, Oct 01 (ANI): After Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Monday wrote a letter to the CMs of all the states asking to ensure that no innocent Muslim youth is wrongfully detained in the name of terror. SP leader Kamal Farooqi said that it is a sad thing for a secular country like India that a community of the nation is targeted for all the wrongful things and that they should be saved. Mumbai, Sep 30 (ANI): Bollywood celebrities marked their full attendance at the closing ceremony of 4th Jagran Film festival in Mumbai recently. Veteran actor, Manoj Kumar was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement award at this festival. Also, spotted at the festival were actors like Tusshar Kapoor, Kamal Hassan, Rituparna Sengupta who were happy to be a part of the event. The six-day festival kicked off last week at the Fun Republic Cinema in Andheri and commenced with the exhibition of an international cinematic project 'Water' and followed with many other screenings.
