Madhuri Dixit becomes brand ambassador of MP health scheme

Bhopal, June 26 (ANI): The health department of central Indian Madhya Pradesh and the state unit of UNICEF appointed Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit as brand ambassador of a state scheme promoting mother and child welfare. Dixit along with state chief, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and health minister of Madhya Pradesh, Narottam Mishra launched the second phase of the campaign on Thursday in Bhopal city. Dixit has been selected as the brand ambassador for Madhya Pradesh government's 'Mamta Abhiyan' (Maternal and Child Health Campaign). Dixit emphasised on the steps being taken by the state government to ensure the safety and health of mother and child. Also Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that people should not discriminate between a boy child and a girl child.
