Giant inflatable moon disrupts traffic in China

The winds from Typhoon Meranti managed to free a giant inflatable moon which ended up rolling its way across parts of Fuzhou. Footage captured by motorists and pedestrians shows the half-deflated moon roll through a construction site before coming at people on the road. The Mid-Autumn Festival is being celebrated on 15 September, where traditionally people gather for family reunions, admire the moon and eat mooncakes, but because of strong winds from Typhoon Meranti many have been unable to observe the moon. According to local reports many Chinese cities have instead set up inflatable moons so people could celebrate the traditional Chinese festival. Sep 15, 2016
