Researcher has found that children with autism have stronger social skills when any kind of pet lived in the home.The revealed that children with any kind of pet in the home reported being more likely to engage in behaviors such as introducing themselves, asking for information or responding to other people's questions. Such social skills typically are difficult for kids with autism, but the study showed children's assertiveness was greater if they lived with a pet. Rajouri, Jan 01 (ANI): Four months since Jammu and Kashmir was ravaged by floods, the poor are still waiting for their share of compensation to rebuild their houses as the cold weather makes life difficult for them.Hundreds of people were killed and thousands of villages devastated by the worst flooding in decades in the Kashmir valley in September. A flood victim, Talib Sen, said the benefits of several schemes introduced by the government in the aftermath of the floods never reached them.
