Gas pipeline leak causes fire in Mumbai colony

Mumbai, Nov 13 (ANI): Residents of a colony in Mumbai woke up to a fire, early morning on Thursday. The fire, which broke out in the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) colony, one belonging to the state-run oil marketing company, was due to a leak in a gas pipeline. As per media reports, eight fire engines were rushed to the spot. No injuries have been reported so far. Fire safety regulations are lax, rarely implemented and not periodically reviewed in most places across India, which results in the breaking of major fire, resulting in loss of life and material. ORIX Real Estate Corporation also handles the development and management of the Sumida Aquarium within Tokyo Skytree Town, Kyoto Aquarium, Shopping malls and other facilities in Japan. Reactions come in as Delhi HC slams MCD for running 'Dirty India Campaign'

New Delhi/ Kaushambi, Nov 06 (ANI): Reactions come from political leaders after Delhi High Court slammed Municipal Corporation of Delhi for unhygienic conditions in the national capital and made an observation that it was running a 'Ganda Bharat Abhiyan' or 'Dirty India Campaign'. While BJP said that government is committed to its 'Swachch Bharat Abhiyan’, Congress and AAP alleged that the ruling BJP is only doing a show off and the MCD under them has failed to perform on the ground. CPI leader D Raja also said that now that the HC has slammed the MCD, it needs to give a report on the same.
