Politicos react to 'unparliamentary remarks' by TMC's Kalyan Banerjee

New Delhi, Dec 10 (ANI): Political leaders on Wednesday slammed TMC leader Kalyan Banerjee for his 'unparliamentary remarks' for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shashtri. The political parties are up in arms against the use of derogatory language for any leader. The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday threatened to bring censure resolution against Banerjee if he does not apologise for objectionable remarks. Banerjee while addressing a public gathering in West Bengal had attacked BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh, grandson of Shastri, and used offensive language. Politicos said that government should take strict action in the matter and not allow to leaders to go away with such remarks. Dec 10, 2014

Security tightens in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of Modi rally

Srinagar, Dec 7 (ANI): Security was tightened in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election rally scheduled for Monday. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party had alleged that the purpose of the recent militant attack at an Army base in the state was to create terror among the masses. BJP National Secretary Tarun Chugh alleged that these incidents were to disrupt the election atmosphere in the state. Sniffer dogs and security personnel were deployed in and around the rally venue. Muslims demand reconstruction of Mosque on Babri demolition anniversary

Ayodhya/Chennai, Dec 6 (ANI): Muslims on Saturday protested in demand for the reconstruction of the Babri Masjid on the 22nd anniversary of the mosque demolition, an incident that had triggered communal riots in the country. The 1992 demolition of the 16th century mosque in Ayodhya by Hindu mobs had triggered worst riots in which about 2,000 people were killed. Many Hindu organisations, especially Vishwa Hindu Parishad, observe it as a day of victory while Muslim organisations call it a black day. A protester, Maulana Jameer, demanded that the government should rebuild the demolished mosque. Meanwhile in Chennai, a non government Muslim organization, Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TMMK) staged a protest with thousands of Muslims participating in it. Dec 6, 2014

General Secretary of Assam Yuva Parishad, Mon Kashyap threatened of mass revolution if Modi_s government went ahead with the plan.
