Supporter of PM suffers due to cease of pension by UP government

Varanasi, Aug 10 (ANI): A supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Virbhadra Nishad complained of non-payment of pension to old people in Uttar Pradesh. The government of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh has stopped provision of pension to the old people after BJP won in the state. Virbhadra Nishad, a boatman, was one of the people who proposed Modi's nomination from temple town Varanasi for the general elections. He was also a constant supporter of the nationalist leader during the elections. However, Nishad complained that the state government of Samajwadi Party has ceased to pay due amount of pension despite him suffering from critical health conditions. Bhopal: Congress protests demanding increase in pension for old people

Bhopal, Aug 08 (ANI): Party workers of Congress staged a protest against the government of Madhya Pradesh on Friday as they demanded rise in pension for the old people. Thousands of widows and old people, along with Congress party workers, held flags and shouted slogans as they encircled the residence of state chief, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, in Bhopal. The protesters also presented a memorandum to Sub Divisional Magistrate asking an increase in the pension.
