Sri Lanka releases five Indian fishermen on death row, politicos react

New Delhi, Nov 20 (ANI): The Sri Lankan court has released the five Indian fishermen, who were sentenced to death on charges of drug trafficking. All five convicts are fishermen from Tamil Nadu. India maintains they are innocent. Their sentence has been commuted by Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse and they have been handed over to Indian officials in Colombo.
