Nita Ambani performs Ganga Aarti in Varanasi on birthday

Varanasi, Nov 02 (ANI): Reliance Industries chief and billionaire Mukesh Ambani's wife, Nita Ambani celebrated her 51st birthday in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's constituency, Varanasi. Nita Ambani is also the Founder and Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of Reliance Industries. As a part of the celebrations, Ambanis also attended a special prayer service (religious rituals) at Kashi Vishwanath temple in the holy city. Nita Ambani also performed the Ganga Aarti at the bank of River Ganges. Highlight of the day the famous ritual of lights 'Aarti' at the Dashashwamedh bank of river Ganges, witnessed by the Ambanis and the guests seated in four houseboats, which were especially decked up for the occasion. Gadkari launches ETC system for Delhi-Mumbai Highway

New Delhi, Oct 31 (ANI): Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday launched the Electronic Toll Collection system for the Delhi-Mumbai Highway. The Electronic Toll Collection systems have already been installed at 55 toll plaza. Their integration with Central Clearing House (CCH) operators has almost been completed on the Delhi-Mumbai route via Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Need to bring FDI in road infrastructure, says Nitin Gadkari

New Delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): Transport minister Nitin Gadkari said on Tuesday that there is a need to bring Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in road infrastructure to meet international standards. Addressing a meeting of state transport ministers in New Delhi, he said India must undertake the advanced road network development planning as have been adopted by many advanced countries. He also emphasized upon bringing in e-governance to have a corruption-free system and developing multi-modal transport system.
