Lolab, Oct 01 (ANI): An unidentified militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in Kupwara district of Kashmir. Acting on a tip off about the presence of militants, security forces launched a search operation in Warnav village of Lolab area in Kupwara. One AK-47 rifle, five magazines, 60 rounds, two cell phones, one GPS (Global Positioning Systems) and one UBGL (Under Barrel Grenade Launcher) grenade were recovered from the site of the encounter. Asian Games: India clinch Gold, Bronze in archery;Chain Singh bags 50m Rifle 3 Positions bronze

New Delhi, Sep 27 (ANI): India created history in sports by beating World champions South Korea in the men's compound archery team final at the Gyeyang Asiad Archery Field on Saturday. With this victory, India got its second gold at 17th Asian Games. Earlier in the day, the Indian women's team of Trisha Deb, Purvasha Sudhir Shende and Jyothi Surekha won bronze medal in the compound event.
