New Delhi, Jan 16 (ANI): A fictional account of Congress President Sonia Gandhi's life by Spanish author finally hits the country's stores with the party mulling legal action if it found contents "objectionable". The book "Red Sari" by Javier Moro could not be released in India during opposition Congress party rule. The Congress said it would take legal action, if the contents of the book were found objectionable. Bharatiya Janata Party refused to comment on it. CPI leader Atul Anjan found nothing wrong with the publication of the book. The book traces Sonia's journey with information sourced from close friends and colleagues from her idyllic childhood to her passionate love affair with late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and chief of the Congress party. New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party councillor Neeraj Gupta on Wednesday denied that he had slapped a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) junior engineer, adding that he had been pushed in the crowd. A video clip earlier in the day, showed Gupta, who is the councillor for Ward 188, slapping the junior engineer, surrounded by people, in Sangam Vihar East area in south Delhi where he had gone to stop an unauthorized construction. Witness in Asaram Rape Case shot dead in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar, Jan 12 (ANI): Former aide of Asaram Bapu was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Jansath Road under New Mandi police station area in Muzaffarnagar when he was returning home. Akhil Gupta was also a witness in the Asaram's Surat rape case. Police said Gupta was shot at when he was on his way home and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. Gupta was a cook and personal aide of Asaram, who is in jail in connection with another case of sexual assault on a minor girl.
