MiG 21 crashes in J&K, Defence Minister express concern

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Indian Air Force fighter aircraft MiG 21 on Tuesday crashed in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district in Kashmir, killing the pilot. New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced the portfolios of his cabinet ministers putting a stop at the speculations over the same. Modi kept charges of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space to himself. While Rajanth Singh was given charge of Home Ministery, Arun Jaitley is incharge of Finance, Corporate Affairs and Defence Ministry. Sushma Swaraj is the new External Affairs Minister, and Venkaiah Naidu is embodied with ministry of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Parliamentary Affairs. Nitin Gadkari took oath as Road Transport and Highways and Shipping Miniter along with Prakash Javadekar as the Information and Broadcast Minister, whereas DV Sadananda Gowda is the new Railways minister Uma Bharti is given Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation ministry, whereas Najma Heptulla is the new Minority Affairs minister. Arun Jaitley takes charge as Finance minister

Narendra Modi takes charge as Prime Minister of India

New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): A day after Narendra Modi took oath as the 15th prime minister of India, he took charge at the PMO. After taking oath with his compact cabinet of 45 ministers, that included 23 Cabinet ministers, 10 ministers of state with independent charge and 12 other ministers of state, started his inning at the PMO on Tuesday. Apart from from Modi, some other ministers of his Cabinet, like Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley also took charge of their respective offices. After taking charge, Modi visited Hyderabad House accompanied by Sushma Swaraj.
