Bangalore, Oct 22 (ANI): Commissioner of Police in Bangalore, MN Reddi said on Wednesday that a case of sexual assault has been filed and investigations are going on in the case of a 3 year old nursery girl raped in school. Reddi said that CCTV footage has been examined and all necessary examinations will be carried out. Indian society must not be intolerant, have dedicated helpline and police force for northeastern peo

Gurgaon, Oct 18 (ANI): After the assault of three Nagaland youths in Gurgaon, Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Saturday said that India is a democratic nation and that Indian society must not be intolerant. He said that hate crimes will not be tolerated and that government is Indian is working in all directions to ensure safety for northeastern people. Rijiju also said that the government has agreed to set up dedicated helpline and police force for the people from north east. Rijiju visited Gurgaon today to take stock of situation and met senior police officials of the area. A high-level meeting will be held on the issue which will discuss steps required to prevent such future instances. Three accused arrested in Gurgaon north-east student assault case

Gurgaon, Oct 17 (ANI): Three accused in the Gurgaon north-east student assault case were arrested by the Gurgaon Police on Friday. Gurgaon east DCP Nazneen Bhasin said that the police was able to arrest the accused in a very short span of time. She added that the accused were inebriated and violent and ethnic racial element was there in the attack. Three north-eastern youths were allegedly beaten up on Thursday by local goons in Sikandarpur village of Gurgaon.
