PM Modi to inaugurate Global Investors Summit in MP on October 9

New Delhi, Sep 21 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Investors Summit organised by the state on October 9. The Summit is aimed at showcasing state as major investment destination for overseas and domestic industrialists. After the two leaders met in New Delhi, Modi also assured Chouhan that he would stay there for around three hours. He said the sectors like education, health, textile, automobiles and food processing will be focus of the summit. The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister disclosed that at least twenty nations have confirmed their participation in the summit. The three-day Global Investors Summit will aim to showcase the strength and industrial prowess of the state besides providing global platform for interaction with the Indian industry leaders, policy makers and other stakeholders. New Delhi, Aug 15 (ANI): Indian political leaders on Friday underlined misses in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's maiden Independence Day speech, while also appreciating his effort to touch upon basic issues the country is facing. Modi, in his speech on the occasion of 68th Independence Day on Friday (August 15), highlighted various topics from digitalization of India to poverty. He urged global investors to make India a manufacturing hub, and pitched for manufacturing in the electronic sector, also calling for foreign investment in manufacturing chemicals, automobiles, agro-business and others. However, Politicos felt he did not mention the core struggles of India, such as inflation and corruption.
