Sushma Swaraj meets Vietnam's President to boost relationship between two nations

Hanoi, Aug 26 (ANI): Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met Vietnam's President Truong Tan Sang and discussed various issues to boost the relationship between both the nations. Swaraj, who is on a three-day visit to the country, met Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh. In an interview with Indian media in Hanoi on August 24, Swaraj said that it was time to replace India's "Look East policy", that aims to link the country's northeast with South East Asia, with an "Act East Policy." Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said both the leaders discussed on enhancing bilateral trade. Swaraj also met Vietnam's Prime Minister, Nguyen Tan Dung. The two countries co-operate in defence, security, pharmaceuticals and agriculture. During her visit, Swaraj is also expected to chair the third round-table of the ASEAN-India Network of think tanks. New Delhi, July 03 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 17.46 points down to stand at 25,823.75. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 10.35 points down to stand at 7,714.80. Glenmark pharmaceuticals ltd. and Eicher Motors were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 6.56% and 5.73% along with Uco Bank and Bata India with an increase of 5.61% and 4.71% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include GMR Infra and JPPOWER with a decrease of 7.83% and 4.87% along with Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. and Unitech with a decrease of 4.70% and 4.66% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 116.11 points at 16,082.41 while the banking sector is down 32.83 points at 17,711.80 and the realty sector is down 30.87 points at 2,075.90.
