New Delhi, June 11 (ANI): Defence Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday announced Lt Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag's appointment as next Army Chief to be final. His statement came when senior Congress leader Anand Sharma raised the issue of tweet messages against Army Chief-designate Suhag by Gen (Retd) VK Singh. Jaitley said in Rajya Sabha that the previous UPA government had made the appointment few weeks ago and it is a practice that some issues should be kept outside the "realm of inter-party politics". Preparations in full swing for oath ceremony of Chandrababu Naidu as Andhra CM

Guntur, June 8 (ANI): Preparations are on at a stadium in Guntur district where TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, will be sworn-in as the first chief minister of new Andhra Pradesh, formed after separation of Telangana. Lakhs of people are expected to attend the oath-taking ceremony, which will be held at a ground near Nagarjuna University in Guntur city. Nearly 10,000 police personnel will be deployed under the supervision of Director General of Police (DGP) J.V. Ramood and Inspector General of Police, Guntur Range, Sunil Kumar.
