New Delhi, July 31 (ANI): US Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. Kerry visited India to re-energise the bilateral ties and to narrow the differences on various issues. The US envoy also met a delegation of Indian industrialists and held discussions on strengthening business ties between both countries. New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): India's Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that it is keen to engage with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to enhance strategic partnership to work together not only on bilateral but also on regional and international issues. Kerry is scheduled to visit India on Wednesday as Washington tries to revitalize ties it sees as a counterbalance to China's rising power. Kathmandu, July 26 (ANI): Foreign minister Sushma Swaraj, who is in Nepal for a three-day visit said the neighbouring country was top priority for the government. Swaraj will co-chair third meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission, which is taking place after 23 years. The commission is expected to review the entire range of bilateral relations. During her visit, she will also meet her Nepalese counterpart Mahendra Bahadur Pandey. Swaraj hoped her visit would boost India-Nepal ties. The meeting will hold discussions in five different clusters -political, security and border issues; economic co-operation and infrastructure; trade and transit; power and water resources.
