Louisiana photojournalist Patrick Perry came to the rescue of a seven-and-a-half-month pregnant woman in a burning car in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on 30 August. Perry was travelling to cover a story with his WBRZ co-worker, Brittany Weiss, when they came across the car burning at the side of a road. This video, shot by Weiss, shows Perry carrying the woman out of the car from the passenger side and away to safety. According to Weiss, the woman was hospitalised and was in a stable condition.
