Delhi HC asks OP Chautala to surrender before Oct 17, politicos react

New Delhi, Sep 27 (ANI): In a major blow to former Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala, who has been convicted in JBT recruitment scam case, the Delhi High Court has asked him to surrender on or before October 17. The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) chief is currently out of prison on bail on health grounds. The INLD leader recently addressed a political rally in Haryana's Jind town where he slammed the Congress government for sending him to jail by implicating him in JBT scam. Chautala even vowed to take oath in jail if his party emerged winner in the assembly polls. Meanwhile, reacting over the court's direction, the BJP and Congress said that it is a legal matter and the law should take its own course. Sep 27, 2014
