New Delhi, Feb 19 (ANI): Social Activist Teesta Setalvad's anticipatory bail plea, seeking protection from arrest in connection with a case of alleged financial fraud, will be heard by a new bench in Supreme Court on Thursday. Reacting to this, politicos said that activists who fight for correct should be provided with security cover. BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that it is a judicial process and Court will give its verdict. CPI leader Atul Anjan said that Setalvad should be provided with proper security cover. JD (U) leader KC Tyagi said that she has become a bone of contention for the government of Gujarat. New Delhi/Patna, Feb 19 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday stated that the central leadership will study the ongoing political crisis in Bihar and will announce its decision with regards to supporting ousted Janata Dal (United) and Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi at the floor of the state assembly 'very soon'. Meanwhile, JD (U) leader Ajay Alok accused the BJP of orchestrating the crisis in Bihar. CPI leader CPI leader Atul Anjan also expressed similar sentiments. Earlier this week, JD (U) chief Sharad Yadav had suspended seven ministers loyal to Manjhi from the party, claiming that they have not followed the party directive. Meanwhile, the Congress party raised objections to Modi's monogrammed suit being called a 'private' gift and alleged that the latter was auctioning it in 'damage control mode'. JD (U) and TMC too took a dig at the auction and said it was a damage control exercise. PM Modi flaunted the suit with his full name 'Narendra Damodardas Modi' on it while meeting US President Barack Obama in New Delhi on January 25. New Delhi, Feb 16 (ANI): Senior Communist leader Govind Pansare and his wife Uma were seriously injured after unknown men opened fire at them in Kolhapur on Monday. According reports, the assailants fired gunshots at the couple at around 8 a.m. when they were out for a morning walk. The assailants, who fired at least four rounds from close range at the couple, fled the scene after the incident. According to reports, the couple is presently being treated at the Astor Aadhar Hospital in Kolhapur. Their condition is believed to be serious. Meanwhile, political leaders condemned the incident.
