New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): Janata Dal (United) leader KC Tyagi on Monday said that 130 Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) will meet Governor KN Tripathi and ask him to let Nitish Kumar to take oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar. Earlier on Sunday, Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi maintained that he will continue to retain the top post till the legislative council in the state assembly decides otherwise, adding that he will take the support of anyone who supports him on the floor. Acute power crisis affects daily life in Kashmir

Poonch, Feb 08 (ANI): Acute shortage of power in Jammu and Kashmir has affected the daily life and businesses of the residents. The residents, who are still grappling with the aftermaths of the floods that wreaked havoc in the state last September, are now struggling with erratic power supply. Presently the power supply is only for as much as four to five hours in a day. Jammu and Kashmir is under governor’s rule after none of the parties was able to cobble up a government after assembly elections in December last year. Businessmen are also suffering as the power crisis is hampering their work. New Delhi, Feb 07 (ANI): Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Saturday appealed Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi for dissolution of the state assembly in wake of the political deadlock in the state. Earlier in the day, Manjhi met his predecessor Nitish Kumar at the latter's residence. This meeting came at a time when speculations are rife that Manjhi will be sacked by the Janata Dal (United), with a view of reinstating Nitish Kumar to the top post.
