BSE closes points 348.40 down on July 11

New Delhi, July 11 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 348.40 points down to stand at 25,024.35. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 108.15 points down to stand at 7,459.60. Aurobindo Pharma and Zee Entertainment were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 3.90% and 3.61% along with Max India and Ranbaxy Lab with an increase of 2.58% and 2.29% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Jain Irrigation and Unitech with a decrease of 11.51% and 10.68% along with Power Finance and REC with a decrease of 10.47% and 10.22% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 158.22 points at 15,154.50 while the banking sector is down 455.55 points at 16,546.21 and the realty sector is down 103.69 points at 1,906.03. Security forces seize drugs worth millions near Pakistan border

Amritsar, July 09 (ANI): India's paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) personnel seized heroin worth millions along with fake Indian currency notes near Pakistan border in northern state of Punjab. BSF personnel claimed on Wednesday to have seized four kilogrammes of heroin in the consignment which was confiscated in Amritsar on Tuesday. DIG of BSF, MF Farooqui, said the personnel challenged the intruder after noticing some suspicious movement on the other side of barbed fencing on India-Pakistan border. BSE closes points 137.30 down on July 9

New Delhi, July 09 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 137.30 points down to stand at 25,444.81. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 38.20 points down to stand at 7,585.00. Indian Oil Corporation and Adani Ports were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 3.35% and 2.67% along with HPCL and TITAN with an increase of 2.38% and 2.18% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Bharat Electronics Ltd. and Apollo Tyres with a decrease of 7.81% and 7.67% along with Aurobindo Pharma and Ashok Leyland with a decrease of 6.93% and 6.11% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 385.13 points at 15,452.99 while the banking sector is down 86.16 points at 17,108.97 and the realty sector is down 31.04 points at 1,914.69.
