IT giant TCS pins hope in new government

Bangalore, May 18 (ANI): The CEO of India's IT services giant, Tata Consultancy Services Limited, N Chandrasekaran said that things would pick up much sooner after the landslide victory in general elections would embolden the BJP's PM-elect Narendra Modi on the global stage. He added that he expects the new government would adopt technology very significantly. Meanwhile, he also talked about the market perspective and said that US maintains to be very attractive as it continues to adopt technologies. Luscious varieties of 'King of Fruits' lure crowds to Mango Festival in Goa

Goa, May 15 (ANI): The ongoing Mango Festival in Goa drew a huge crowd of visitors from across the country to savor the delicious taste and tempting flavour of the fruit that is rightly dubbed the 'King of Fruits.' The festival which began on May 13, has been organized by the Directorate of Agriculture, Government of Goa and National Horticulture mission and will conclude today. Around 60 varieties were on display, including the Alphonso, Totapuri, Malgoa and Bhishma, besides others. Interactive sessions and seminars were also held by experts who informed people about mango production technologies, ultra high density planting as well as pest and disease management. May 15, 2014
