BJP's Nirmala Sitharaman files nomination for RS Polls from Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad, June 21 (ANI): Union Minister and BJP leader Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday filed her nomination papers for Rajya Sabha Polls as a lone candidate from Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, BJP presidents of the state and Telangana K Haribabu and G Kishan Reddy and leaders of TDP and BJP accompanied her as she submitted her papers to the Legislature Secretary. The state will be going to polls next month and last date for filing of nominations is June 23. Sitharaman is currently holding office as the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry. Jun 21, 2014

India to review Company Act to ease business

Chennai, June 14 (ANI): Indian government will be reviewing the Company Act to ease business in the country as told by MoS of Commerce Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday. Sitharaman, who has independent charge of the ministry, said the government would consult all the stake holders on June 21, to remove the bottlenecks to facilitate investment and jobs creation.
