Artist in Gujarat expresses love for PM Modi through unique potrait

Vadodara, Feb March 01 (ANI): An artist in Gujarat state has expressed his love for Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a very unique manner by preparing a portrait of the leader with bindi. Hariom Gurjar, from Vadodara city, used 38,441 bindi of 11 different shades to create Modi's portrait. The portrait has been nominated for Limca Book of World Records. The artist wishes to gift the artwork to Modi, the next time he visits Vadodara city. He also plans to put it up for auction and donate the funds to a social scheme initiated by the PM. Mar 1, 2015

'One rank one pension' to be implemented soon, trying to exhort middle class to save: Jaitley

New Delhi, Feb 28 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday briefed the media after presenting the General Budget for 2015-16 in Lok Sabha earlier. Jaitley said that there was a particular set of circumstances both favourable and challenging at the same time. Jaitley said that 'one rank one pension' will soon be implemented. He added that the world was looking up at India enthusiastically. He said that the public spending on infrastructure has been increased notwithstanding the squeezing of fiscal space. Jaitley further said that the government is trying to exhort middle class from tax so that they can save. Union Budget 2015-16: FM announces more AIIMS, IIT and IIMs

New Delhi, Feb 28 (ANI): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presented the General Budget for 2015-16 in Lok Sabha on Saturday. Jaitley said that the government is putting scam, scandal and corruption behind it and added the Parliament needs to look into a procurement law. Jaitley proposed to set-up an IT based student financial aid system under the PM Vidya Laxmi scheme to ensure that no student misses out on higher education due to lack of fund. He also proposed to set up All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Himachal and Assam. Keeping in view the need to augment medical services in Bihar, Jaitley proposed to set up another AIIMS like institution in the state. Under this scheme, Jaitley announced insurance coverage for accidents, health and life. Jaitley added that 'Atal Pension Yojana' scheme would be launched to provide a defined pension to the people.
