Amethi, Oct 07 (ANI): Addressing a rally in Amethi after laying the foundation stone for a mega food park, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that the initiative would provide large scale employment to residents of the area and ensure just pay to farmers exporting agricultural items. Gandhi also said the inaugurated food park in Amethi will have 40 to 50 warehouses and give direct employment to 2,500 people. SC proposes 3-member panel for IPL spot-fixing scandal

New Delhi, Oct 7 (ANI): In a setback to N Srinivasan’s hopes of taking charge as BCCI president for a third term, the Supreme Court of India proposed a three-member panel to investigate the IPL spot-fixing scandal on Monday and extended the hearing of the case to Tuesday. The apex court today proposed that the new probe panel will be headed by former Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Mukul Mudgal, and will also consist of senior Supreme Court lawyers, L Nageshwar Rao and Nilesh Dutta. Meanwhile, a petitioner, Aditya Sinha, said to mediapersons that the Court has scrapped off the pleas to re-consider Srinivasan’s case. Oct 7, 2013
