Bangalore, July 22 (ANI): With furore over the rape of a 6-year old girl still on, MN Reddi took charge as the Commissioner of Bangalore. The case took a toll on the previous commissioner Raghavendra H Auradkar and additional commissioner of police (law and order) Kamal Pant who were transferred on Monday. The officials are replaced by Reddi and IGP (grievances and human rights) Alok Kumar respectively. New Delhi, July 21 (ANI): Bollywood beauties Chitrangada Singh and Bipasha Basu brought the curtains down of Sri Raj Mahal Jewelers India Couture Week 2014 in true diva style. The final day of the ICW turned out to be a complete Bollywood affair with actors like Huma Qureshi and Ileana D'Cruz walking the runway for designers Rimple & Harpreet Narula & Sulakshana Monga. Dusky beauty Chitrangada opened the finale show in true Marilyn Monroe style wearing a black voluminous gown accessorizing it well with statement neckpiece by the organizers. The show was mix of pieces inlaid in gold and diamonds embellished with precious stones such as emeralds, rubies and pearls dominating the range of designs. Ending the show was Basu, who looked every bit of a bride in rusty red velvet Rohit Bal lehenga-choli matched with an elaborate polki neck piece earrings. The five huge chandeliers on stage, table tops adorned with exquisite goblets and singer Kamal Khan's live performance added to the opulence of the show giving the 6 days long fashion extravaganza a glittering ending.
