Mumbai, Feb 18 (ANI): Veteran Bollywood composer, Bappi Lahiri, who popularized the use of synthesized disco music in Indian cinema, was felicitated as goodwill ambassador for 'Education For All' campaign in Mumbai. The felicitation ceremony was organized by National Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Centres and Association of Nepal (NAFUCON). The award was also to honour his outstanding contribution to the music industry. Meanwhile, speaking on the importance of the campaign, he said that literacy is the foundation of development. Adventurists camp in Mao infested Purulia

Purulia, Feb 15 (ANI): Enthusiastic adventurists participated in the first Orienteering camp held in the Mao infested Ayodhya hill area of Matha Forest Range in Purulia of West Bengal. The camp has been organized by West Bengal Mountaineering & Adventure Sports Foundation, under the Youth Services Department of West Bengal government and the participants use their navigation skills with the help of a map and a compass to race on foot. Former Joint Director of National Atlas and Thematic Mapping Organisation (NATMO) and Coordinator of the orienteering camp, Tridib Basu, shared the experience of organizing the camp.
