Jaganmohan Reddy begins his fast-unto-death as bandh continues

Vishakhapatnam/Hyderabad, Oct 05 (ANI): YSR Congress President Jaganmohan Reddy launched his fast-unto-death on Saturday against the Centre's move to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh and to create Telangana. Reddy asked why the decision on Telangana cannot be reversed when it is possible to reverse government’s decision on the Ordinance over convicted politicians. Meanwhile, the decision also triggered protest by certain groups and a shutdown in port city, Vizag, which paralysed the region. City roads remained deserted and public bus stands, schools and shopping malls were shut. Residents said that locals are venting their frustration and anger over the bifurcation and are taking to streets. Oct 5, 2013
