Masaba, who is known for her quirky motifs, predominantly used three prints-Chandragupt, machine and checkered dots. Bollywood Actress Alia bhatt dazzled the runway as showstopper in beige and black dress with pink high heels and spoke about her association with the designer. Badminton Association of India proposes life ban on ace shuttler Jwala Gutta

Lucknow/Bangalore/Hyderabad, Oct 06 (ANI): The Disciplinary Committee of the Badminton Association of India (BAI) suggested lifetime ban on ace woman shuttlecock player Jwala Gutta. The BAI cited a ruckus during the recent Indian Badminton league match as the reason for this proposed ban. Recently during a match in the Indian Badminton League (IBL) on August 25, Gutta had delayed the match which was being witnessed live across the world. However, President of BAI, Akhilesh Das Gupta said that if Gutta gave an unconditional apology the matter could be reconsidered, but at the moment the ban had only been recommended and not enforced. Seven prisoners escape from Khandwa jail in MP, one nabbed

Khandwa/Bhopal, Oct 1 (ANI): In a major embarrassment to the Madhya Pradesh police, seven prisoners escaped from state's Khandwa jail in the wee hours of Tuesday. According to reports, six of the men allegedly belong to the Students Islamic Movement of India or SIMI, which was banned in 2001 over its alleged terror links. However, one of the prisoners has been caught. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Uma Shankar Gupta promised to take an action against the erring officials and said that the authorities would probe as to why this incident happened.
