NDA slams Nitish-Lalu alliance ahead of JD (U)-RJD rally in Chhapra

Patna, Aug 17 (ANI): The National Democratic Alliance parties BJP and LJP on Sunday slammed the alliance of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav in Bihar ahead of JD (U)-RJD rally in Chhapra. Law Minister and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said that both Nitish and Lalu were separate since a long time and were forced to unite with an aim to stand against Narendra Modi. Prasad also said that people of Bihar will decide which leader to choose. Meanwhile, LJP leader Chirag Paswan slammed Lalu's comedy stints to remain in public view and said that Nitish-Lalu alliance will be a failure. CJI hopes for judicial freedom, Government shows commitment

New Delhi, Aug 15 (ANI): Chief Justice of India, RM Lodha while speaking at a function organised by the Supreme Court Bar Association on Friday, said he hopes that judiciary, executive and parliament are allowed to work independently and without any interference. Meanwhile, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said sanctity of independence is an article of faith.
