Yashodhara Raje Scindia underscores skill development for youth at Global Investors Summit

Indore, Oct 09 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Commerce and Industry Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia said at the Global Investors Summit that she will take steps for skill development of the youths and unemployed of the state so that they become self reliant. During a news conference at the Global Investors Summit, the minister said the regional government will ensure skill availability within the state. Barely weeks after Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, launched his 'Make in India' initiative, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, inaugurated a three-day Global Investors Summit on Wednesday, inviting business leaders from across the world to invest in the state. Scindia added that enhancing employment is one of the primary objectives of her government. She said she will also urge corporate houses to adopt industrial training institutes so that they can directly hire talent from there. Day one of the summit was dedicated to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). Scindia said the MSME sector demands special attention from the federal government. Oct 9, 2014

The 128GB version of the phone will sell for Rs 71,500. The 16GB version of Apple iPhone 6 Plus will be available at Rs 62,500/-, while the 64GB version is priced at Rs 71500/-.The 128GB version of the phone will sell for Rs 80,500/-. iPhone 6 and iphone 6 plus are scheduled to be launched in India on 17th October. Titled as "YOUth Decide: Exchanging opportunities in North India and North East India: Education-Employment-Entertainment', the youth dialogue programme was organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce with support from the Home Ministry, University express ,and several northeast organizations. The event witnessed the participation of northeast and north Indian students from colleges and youth organizations from different parts of the National Capital Region (NCR). SCI launches first shipping service to Myanmar

Chennai, Oct 04 (ANI): India launched its first shipping service to Myanmar connecting both the countries under the concept of 'look east' policy to boost bilateral ties. The shipping corporation of India (SCI) and the ministry of shipping have launched a direct service to Myanmar for the first time with the help of foreign ministry and commerce ministry. The fortnightly service was flagged off at Krishnapatnam Port, one of the fastest growing ports on the East Coast of India, after it sailed from Chennai late Friday. Secretary, Ministry Of Shipping, Vishwapati Trivedi said beyond commercial trade it will strengthen trade relationship between both countries. Congress releases its election manifesto in Haryana

Panchkula, Oct 1 (ANI): Congress on Wednesday released its election manifesto in Haryana for the October 15 polls and attempted to woo farmers, even as Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda promised to put the state on higher growth trajectory. The 23-page manifesto laid thrust on the sectors of agriculture and horticulture, irrigation, energy, industry, trade, commerce, FDI, health, employment, women empowerment, urban and rural development and education. The document even mentioned about construction of a separate High Court for Haryana in Chandigarh and also about resuming mining once approval is given from Environment Department.
