AFI FEST had a decidedly Italian flavor as it celebrated legendary screen icon Sophia Loren. The Oscar winner reportedly received a 2-minute standing ovation before the screening of her films. Her ‘Nine’ director Rob Marshall, Michelle Monaghan, Sasha Alexander and sons Edoardo & Carlo Ponti Jr. joined her for the tribute. Ray Romano played host to the 8th Annual Comedy Celebration Benefiting The Peter Boyle Research Fund. Patricia Heaton and Doris Roberts were also on hand to pay tribute to their former co-star.
