New Delhi, Sept 27 (ANI): Afghanistan is in a state of transition and during this crucial period in national life of Afghan people, India will remain a strategic partner of Afghanistan. The recent visit of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to Afghanistan has drawn two points, the first being that India will remain committed to Afghanistan and second that India will continue with the aid and assistance training programmes, believes Vishal Chandra, a fellow at the Institute of Defense Studies and Analyses, a Delhi-based think-tank. India has been partner with Afghanistan since the overthrowing of Taliban regime in 2001. New Delhi, Sept 24 (ANI): Congratulations poured in on Wednesday for the Mangalyaan team of ISRO after the Mars Orbiter Mission successfully entered the orbit of the red planet. With this India became the first nation in the world to be successful in reaching Mars in its very maiden attempt. US space agency National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) sent in a congratulatory tweet saying, "We congratulate @ISRO for its Mars arrival! @MarsOrbiter joins the missions studying the Red Planet. #JourneyToMars." Child from war-torn Iraq gets new life by the help of Indian doctors

Gurgaon, Aug 10 (ANI): A child from war-torn Iraq got a new life with the efforts of Indian doctors. The13-year-old Iraqi boy was operated at a speciality hospital in Gurgaon. In June, Iraqi child Hayder Hamid Haloob was going with his family to their fields to cut the wheat crop on the outskirts of the holy city of Karbala — bordering the ISIS-controlled Jurf-Al-Sakhar area — when a landmine went off. The blast killed his uncle who was driving, and left his mother and aunt with shrapnel injuries in their arms and shoulders. Neuro Surgeon, Doctor Sandeep Vaish said that the child’s condition was very critical when he was brought from Iraq.
