Allahabad, Sep 22 (ANI): The supporters of Varun Gandhi on Monday pelted stones at the house of BJP MP Shyama Charan Gupta, who had criticised Women & Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi for pitching in for her son as the Uttar Pradesh chief minister. Gupta's statement has infuriated Varun's supporters who burnt his effigy and also pelted stones at his residence. The protesters also shouted slogans and tore the posters outside his residence in Allahabad. They also demanded an apology from Gupta for his statement.
