Abhanpur, Aug 01 (ANI): Explosion at a factory killed five in Chhattisgarh on Friday. The incident took place at the Navbharat Fuse Company situated in Chote Urla village in Abhanpur block, 40 kilometers away from the capital Raipur. Forensic officer, scene of crime unit-incharge, Shivji Singh, said the cause of the incident is yet to be determined. Prashant Bhushan calls for enquiry against Justice Manjunath

New Delhi, July 29 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and lawyer Prashant Bhushan on Tuesday said that an enquiry should be set up against Karnataka High Court judge K.L Manjunath and that his removal should be recommended by the Chief Justice of India himself. The Supreme Court collegium had given recommendation to elevate Karnataka High Court judge KL Manjunath as Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court but the NDA government had returned the collegium file, asking it to reconsider the elevation of KL Manjunath after the reports came into light. New Delhi, July 29 (ANI): Senior jurists on Tuesday voiced against the Supreme Court Collegium saying the system has no credibility and transparency. Former Law Minister Shanti Bhushan said that he is totally against the Collegium because a group of people cannot decide on the best person as a judge. He said that there should be a change in the system so that corrupt people don't get appointed. Former High Court Judge Justice (Retd) RS Sodhi also welcomed changes but advocated for the same not just in Delhi but throughout India.
