The red carpet was rolled out as stars arrived to promote their projects and receive praise for their work. Join us as we recap the biggest events from 2014. Let’s kick things off with the grandest red carpet of them all – the Academy Awards. Cate Blanchett and Lupito N’yongo not only took home the Oscar but they also topped everyone’s best-dressed list. Co-stars Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto both sported the white tuxedo trend as they collected the golden statue for “Dallas Buyers Club”. But let’s not forget the Golden Globes - which drew A-listers from the big and small screen - and where Kerry Washington and Olivia Wilde glammed up their baby bumps. Sandra Bullock remained a fan favorite on and off the carpet when she won four trophies at the People’s Choice Awards. At the Grammys, Katy Perry hit a high note with her music inspired dress while Madonna suited up with son David. But it was Pharrell Williams’ Vivienne Westwood hat that stole the show and spawned its own Twitter account. And the Emmys were all about “Breaking Bad”. Not only did stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn take home awards but the much-loved show also won Best Drama Series. Raghuvaran B-tech all set to hit screen

The trailer of one of the most awaited dubbing film ‘Raghuvaran B-tech’ is finally out. This film is originally titled ‘Vellai Illa Pattadhari’ (VIP) in Tamil starring Dhanaush and Amala Paul in the lead roles. The film earned Dhanush both critical acclaim and success at the box-office. Many Telugu film makers initially thought of remaking it in Telugu but somehow it didn’t materialize. Producer ‘Sravanthi’ Ravi Kishore of Sri Sravanthi Movies is releasing the film in Telugu. Dhanush will be seen a role of a 'graduate without a job'. While his mother acts as his support system, his father constantly criticizes him for unable to get a job. This unemployed youth even have a girlfriend and Amala Paul does the role. Music composed by Anirudh and Velraj is the director. The movie will hit screen by end of december. Dec 16, 2014
