New Delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): Shortly after the Supreme Court asked the government to reveal all the names of Indians holding illegal bank accounts abroad by Wednesday, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that the government has no hesitation in submitting the names and would do so tomorrow. Jaitley also added that the Centre is not interested in protecting anybody. The Supreme Court had rapped the Centre for seeking modification of its order on black money on disclosing names of account holders in foreign banks. Oct 28, 2014

New Delhi, Oct 26 (ANI): Members of Aam Aadmi Sena protested outside the residence of Arun Jaitley on Sunday urging him to disclose the names of foreign bank account holders. Aam Aadmi Sena leader Shamsher Singh said that the money belongs the people and hence the government must reveal the name of the account holders. The BJP had set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to unearth "black money", after its first cabinet meeting. However, the government later claimed that not all information on the matter should be disclosed under double taxation avoidance agreement or DTAT. Reactions flow after Jethmalani questions govt's inability to reveal names of black money holders

New Delhi, Oct 25 (ANI): Political reactions flowed on Saturday after senior lawyer Ram Jethmalani questioned the government's inability in a letter to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in revealing names of black money holders. Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that Jethmalani has said the right thing as BJP used to raise the issue of revealing names of black money holders and now it is repeating what UPA did. BJP leader Sambit Patra said that Jethmalani's letter does not need to be reverted back as he himself once said that Congress is the friend and father of black money. CPI leader D Raja said that almost all political parties have been demanding the government to reveal the names of all black money holders whether inside or outside the country. Mumbai, Oct 24 (ANI): Senior lawyer Ram Jethmalani said on Friday that he has given his piece of advice on the black money case to the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley through a scathing letter. New Delhi, Oct 21 (ANI): Minister of Defence and National Security of the Republic of Maldives, Colonel (Retired) Mohamed Nazim, arrived in India on Tuesday to meet his Indian counterpart, Arun Jaitley, to discuss the strengthening of bilateral defence cooperation between the two nations. On Tuesday, Nazim who is on a three-day visit, was accorded the Guard of Honour and he offered homage to India's bravehearts at the Amar Jawan Jyoti in New Delhi. Post the defence-level talks, the Indian side is expected to push for closer military ties with Maldives and the host country's assistance will focus primarily on capacity building of the Armed Forces while New Delhi will also supply equipment and assist in training.
