Bodh Gaya, Oct 03 (ANI): Buddhist monks in holy town of Bodh Gaya in Bihar took part in cleanliness drive as a part of 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 145th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. On Thursday, a holiday for Gandhi's birthday, Modi launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, to modernise sanitation within five years. A Buddhist monk, Ajay said that Modi's campaign will be taken forward by all the monasteries across the state. At least 5 killed in bus accident in Jharkhand

Palamu, Sep 28 (ANI): At least 5 people, including one woman and a child, were killed and several others injured when a bus caught fire after a high voltage electricity wire fell on it in Jharkhand on Sunday. The accident occurred in Palamu district, around 160 kilometre of state capital Ranchi, when a hanging high voltage electricity wire caressed the speeding bus, leading to fire in the bus. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ajay Kumar, thanked villagers for saving many lives. Around 50 people managed to escape the burning bus. The injured were admitted to the nearby hospital. Sep 28, 2014
