New Delhi, Jan 22 (ANI): Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin while giving details of the itinerary of the US President Barack Obama visit to India in a press conference on Thursday, said that Obama's visit is being seen as strengthening of ties across the full spectrum of India-US relationship. Akbaruddin said that US is India's key interlocutor in adjustments to global security architecture and that India sees vast potential in growth of its relations with the US. While pouring out the details of the itinerary of the US President's three-day visit to India, Akbaruddin added that Obama will visit Taj Mahal on 27 January before departing for US. Dhaka, Jan 22(ANI): Ministers of ruling Awami League-led government in Bangladesh held rallies across capital Dhaka demanding arrest of former Prime Minister, Begum Khaleda Zia, for her association with an Islamist party that is accused of war crimes. The ministers addressed rallies in the city even as a 48-hour general strike call was given by opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) earlier in the day. As per reports, Zia, was released on January 19 after a house arrest of 16 days, amid renewed violence over last year's disputed polls.
