The two founders of the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative pledged more than $3 billion toward a plan to cure, prevent or manage all disease within our childrens lifetime. Investments will include a bioscience research centre, called the Biohub, and plans for a chip to diagnose diseases, continuous bloodstream monitoring and a map of cell types in the body. Russias Republic of Chechnya voted overwhelmingly in favour of regional president Ramzan Kadyrov. The Chechen leader won 98 percent of the vote in elections that did not meet international standards. Paddy Power have made their bets on which celebrities are going to replace Mel and Sue once the Great British Bake Off moves to Channel 4. The duo released a statement on 13 September saying that they wouldnt be returning to the shows after the move.
