Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid arrives in New Delhi on official visit

New Delhi, Dec 18 (ANI): President of Bangladesh, Abdul Hamid, arrived in New Delhi on Thursday on a six-day official visit to India. India's President Pranab Mukherjee had invited him to visit India and also to be a guest at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. The Bangladeshi President is expected to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Mukherjee, Vice-President Hamid Ansari and other senior leaders. He was received at the airport in New Delhi by Junior Foreign Minister, General (retired) V.K. Singh. The Bangladeshi President's visit is expected to contribute to further strengthening and expanding the bilateral relations between the two countries. Recently, its famous actor and artist gathered in Singapore for the Anime Festival Asia 2014, and annual event with participation of some 90,000 people. The event was held jointly by Singapore cooperation SOZO and Horipro. Horipro executes not only talent business but also plural business including talent goods sales and production of its own content. It was displayed at an exhibition. Actor of Japanese comic, Death Note, Hayato Kakizawa also participated at the event marked by musical performances and caught the attention of fans. Some fans also interacted with Kakizawa. Three-day International Aviation Conclave kicks off in New Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 11 (ANI): The three-day International Aviation Conclave focussing on promotion of aviation, global cooperation, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and other policies began in New Delhi on Thursday (December 11). The conference-cum-exhibition is being organised by aviation firm Beta Aviation, under the support of the Indian Civil Aviation Ministry, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the US-India Importers Council. The theme revolves around "Empowering Aviation: Encouraging Stability Towards Sustainability" and aims to showcase the growth potential for aviation in the Indian economy. The Memorandum of Understanding were signed in varied fields like Petrol and Gas, Military training exchange, Nuclear energy, health research and others. The two leaders signed the pact to further bolster ties between two nations at Hyderabad House in the national capital and they spelt out their vision for cooperation in key areas including defence and nuclear. Modi and Putin posed for the customary photograph before beginning talks on the various deals that are set to be signed between the two countries. Chief of Kazakhstan Armed Forces receives Guard of Honour in New Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 08 (ANI): Chief of armed forces of Kazakhstan, Colonel General Zhasuzakov Saken Adilkhanovich, who is on a six-day visit to India, received guard of honour in New Delhi on Monday. Adilkhanovich, who arrived in India on Sunday, was received by India's Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha before the ceremony. As per Indian embassy, inter-governmental commission was formed between India-Kazakhstan in 1992 and has been instrumental in developing bilateral trade, economic, scientific, technological, industrial and cultural cooperation.
