Mumbai, Jan 17 (ANI): Following Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti's complains about inaction in Malviya Nagar Drug Racket by foreign nationals, Senior Advocate Abha Singh said that Bharti himself violated law. Singh said that Bharti committed offences like arresting a woman without FIR, arresting a woman after sunset, no lawyers given to women and freedom curtailment. Singh said that by this, Bharti created a rift between India and African countries which can put the security of Indians in Africa at stake. New Delhi, Jan 16 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 24.31 points down to stand at 21,265.18. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 2.00 points down to stand at 6,318.90. Gitanjali Gems and Wockhardt were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 9.95 % and 4.33% along with Bharat Forge and HCL Tech with an increase of 4.26% and 4.23% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Idea Cellular and Bharti Airtel with a decrease of 7.25% and 4.84% along with Max India and Reliance Communications Ltd. with a decrease of 4.37% and 4.18% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 101.67 points at 12,023.87 while the banking sector is down 26.09 points at 12,680.52 and the realty sector is up 3.08 points at 1,359.05. New Delhi, Jan 16 (ANI): Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti carried out raids in South Delhi's Khirki Extension late night on Wednesday and is reported to have had a brush with the local police. Bharti and his supporters alleged that a sex trade and drug peddling racket was flourishing in the locality with the help of foreign nationals, mostly Nigerians. Bharti had a hot argument with police, even as his supporters created a lot of commotion. Bharti demanded that the police take action against the offenders. New Delhi, Jan 14 (ANI): The Patiala House Court in 2013 had indicted Lawyer and AAP leader, Somnath Bharti for tampering with evidence along with his client Pawan Kumar in a corruption case. Speaking on the same, Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that they are ready to share the evidence which was found during their sting operation against the bank, and also added that no evidence was tampered with.
