SC gives Subrata Roy 10 working days to sell properties for bail

New Delhi, Aug 01 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Friday has allowed Sahara Chief Subrata Roy to stay in Tihar Conference Room in order to negotiate to sell his properties for bail. Lawyer Gaurav Bhatia said that an IA was moved by Roy and 2 other applicants and the Court accepted the appeal and allowed Roy to stay for 10 working days in Conference Room where all the necessary facilities for interaction with buyers and clients are provided. Hearing of National Herald Case adjourned till August 5

New Delhi, Aug 01 (ANI): The hearing of the National Herald Case on Friday has been adjourned till 5th August. BJP leader and Lawyer Subramanian Swamy said that he asked for the adjournment of case considering the fact that he was given the briefing of the accused quite late. Swamy added that the Court did not pass any order but only adjourned the hearing till August 5. Delhi HC directs to stop e-rickshaw services temporarily

New Delhi, July 31 (ANI): The Delhi High Court on Thursday directed to stop the services of e-rickshaw temporarily. Lawyer Sugreev Dubey said that e-rickshaws are plying illegally in Delhi and thus do not follow road rules. New Delhi, July 29 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and lawyer Prashant Bhushan on Tuesday said that an enquiry should be set up against Karnataka High Court judge K.L Manjunath and that his removal should be recommended by the Chief Justice of India himself. The Supreme Court collegium had given recommendation to elevate Karnataka High Court judge KL Manjunath as Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court but the NDA government had returned the collegium file, asking it to reconsider the elevation of KL Manjunath after the reports came into light.
