The Auto sector is up 254.31 points at 17,547.96 while the banking sector is up 322.80 points at 18,326.48 and the reality sector is up 46.95 points at 1,774.39. Vintage beauties lure people to car rally in Chennai

Chennai, Aug 24 (ANI): Cars and bikes of various makes and models charmed the crowd at a rally organised by the Madras Heritage Motoring Club in Chennai city on Sunday. The 10th edition of _MyTVS Heritage Car Rally_ saw classic beauties from 1920s to 1960s participating at the event. The organiser of the event, VS Kylas, said close to 140 cars and 50 bikes turned out for the rally. The beauties on wheels roamed around the roads of Chennai after the rally was flagged off from Don Bosco School in the city. Marketing Manager of Mercedes Benz (India), Chitrangada, who was also present at the event, said the experience was one of a kind as one does not get to see the roving steel beauties of yesteryears on a regular basis.
